Port Byron Tug Fest

Tug Fest is a one of a kind event on the banks of the Mississippi River. Join us for a weekend full of fun and activities for all ages.

We start on Thursday night with family night and free admission. We continue Friday night with the highlight being the fireworks. Saturday brings on the Tug of War across the Mississippi River.

Birding Tour at Lost Mound

Stewards of the Upper Mississippi River Refuge and the US Fish and Wildlife Service are co-hosting a birding tour into the closed area of Lost Mound. This is an excellent opportunity to travel through the refuge with experienced birders and learn about the history of Lost Mound (formerly the Savanna Army Depot).
